If you have
a Gig-bag that is made out of material and you worry about it
raining when your out and about with it slung over your
shoulder. Buy a Can of Running Shoe protector and give your bag
a few coats, making sure to allow each coat to dry before
applying the next. It won't make it water proof but it will
offer you a little more protection at minimal cost |

If your pick
starts to feel slippery, wash it with a washing up liquid and
water solution to remove dirt and oils that your fingers leave
behind. Then
Then take a fine
graded piece of sandpaper and gently sand the pick to roughen it
and improve the grip.

If you have
a spare Gig-bag lying around taking up space, put it to good
use. They make excellent storage bags for pedal boxes and
effects boxes, you could even put the gear inside the boxes
before stowing them away in your Gig-bag creating even more
space. |

Use foam
pipe insulation to pad out your Guitar stand and inside your gig
